The Company’s experiences range from heavy industries, manufacturing facilities and engineering services and has undertaken numerous large scale build-to-order projects for MNC and public listed companies.

History

Soon after the formation of Malaysia, the Company was incorporated as Hock Lee Foundry and had made its presence felt in the field of water management at Northern Peninsular Malaysia. This creation of the Company had its root as far back as 1960’s in Penang by the visionary late Mr. Ong Saw Moy. Started as a small firm in manufacturing, installing and constructing facilities for irrigation and water management, the Company was then converted into a Private Limited Company on 10th of Mar 1966.

Hock Lee started spreading its wings in the areas of engineering services during the rapid industrial development in Penang. With obvious increase in business operations, it was renamed as Hock Lee (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. on 20th of January 2006. The Company has since diversified into large scale build-to-order engineering projects for specialized industries such as Steel Mills, Blast Furnace, Oleochemical, Food Processing, and etc. The Company has offered a wide spectrum of products and services. In year 2007, it relocated the operations to a new plant with the size of 75,000 sqft to expand its capacity to meet the demands.
